Drywall Tape
Drywall tape is used along with joint compound to hide the seams in drywall. Drywall tape comes in a couple of varieties. Paper and self adhering mesh. The paper tape must have a thin coat of joint compound applied first in order to have it adhere to the wall. The tape is imbedded into the thin coat and then subsequent coats of compound are applied over top of the tape. The self adhering mesh can be applied to a wall without applying joint compound first and works well with our drywall repair clips. The drywall tape you select is totally up to you, but if you have little to no drywalling experience, we recommend the self adhering mesh.
